Government and Religion of the Zimbabwe Empire

The Great Zimbabwe government was a kingdom government which means they had kings and queens. The kingdom government was a royal place for a monarchy. They didn't grant more rights and freedoms to individuals but Europeans discriminated against the Great Zimbabwe. Europeans didn't believe they built structures because they didn't believe a darker skinned person could build structures such as the one below.
The Great Zimbabwe religion was a lot like the Christian religion. When the people in the empire were in doubt they consulted a spirit for advice. The people of the Great Zimbabwe empire believed to have direct contact with their ancestors. Therefore, the people of the Great Zimbabwe Empire had hope when they were in doubt.
